Overview

A plastic injection molding machine is a machine used to produce plastic parts by injecting molten plastic into a metal mold, where it cools and solidifies to take the desired shape. This method is one of the most precise and widespread in the modern plastics industry.

Working Principle

1. The plastic granules are fed into the hopper.
2. The granules are heated inside the barrel until they melt.
3. The screw or piston injects molten plastic under high pressure into the mold cavity.
4. The plastic cools and hardens inside the mold.
5. After that, the mold is opened and the final product is removed.

Main Components
