Since most of BETA’s products are custom-made for specific industrial and construction projects—such as metal structures, sheet metal forming, tray cable systems, ladders, and chute components—these products are manufactured according to the client’s drawings and technical specifications and generally cannot be resold or used for another client. Therefore, our return and cancellation policy differs from standard consumer retail policies and is primarily based on the stage of progress of the order.
If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us in writing via email as soon as possible. If the cancellation request is received before production has actually started, we may consider the cancellation, while reserving the right to deduct any non-refundable costs already incurred, such as engineering and design work or procurement of project-specific materials. If the cancellation request is made after production has started, the order is generally considered non-cancellable and non-returnable due to the consumption of materials, production time, and labor required to manufacture products custom-made for your project.
In many projects, BETA requires the payment of an advance or a certain percentage of the contract value before commencing engineering or production work. These payments are used to secure raw materials, prepare drawings, and reserve production capacity in the factory. In the event of a cancellation, this advance may be partially or fully non-refundable, depending on the scope of work and costs already incurred. In all cases, the payment and cancellation terms stated in the quotation, purchase order, or signed contract take precedence over this general policy in case of any conflict.
Upon receipt of the goods, the customer is responsible for inspecting the products within a reasonable period, checking the quantity, type, shipping condition, overall appearance, and conformity with the agreed specifications as much as possible. If any visible damage, shortage, or clear discrepancy is noticed, please notify us in writing and provide supporting evidence (such as photos) within the agreed timeframe. If a manufacturing defect or non-conformity with the approved technical specifications is identified, BETA may, at its discretion, repair or replace the product, provide a partial refund, or issue a credit note, depending on the nature of the issue.
In general, custom-made products, engineering and design work, client-specific materials, and field services (such as on-site supervision or technical support) that have already been performed are non-returnable. BETA’s liability, to the extent permitted by law, is limited to the value of products or services proven to have a genuine defect or non-conformity with the agreed specifications. The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as project delays, penalty fees, or loss of profits, unless expressly stated otherwise in a written contract.
